Sports activities are given utmost importance. Our students regularly participate in all sports competitions and bring laurels to the institution and themselves. Our sports complex is a marvel in itself boasting of cricket grounds, volley ball courts, basket ball courts, Throwball courts, kabaddi and athletic tracks. The atmosphere and surroundings of the institution are conducive for developing sports personalities and sports activities.

NSS

NSS Incharge

The NSS units of Dusi Polytechnic College is doing Yeoman service since its inception for the socially backward and needy community at large under the untiring and inspiring leadership of Dr K R Arumugam Chairman, Annai Indira Technical Educational Trust and a well known philanthropist. Our Chairman Dr K R Arumugam is instrumental in pioneering various social activities.
The NSS has been functioning with the sole aim of "Service to Society". The institution itself was started primarily to promote quality education to the Rural groups near Dusi. By being in the NSS (National Service Scheme), the youth of our country is doing enormous service.
To join the big club, in our institution also, NSS was started in the year 2008. There is one unit functioning under the trained programme officers Mr. M Krishnakumar. Unit is functioning enthusiastically with the motto, "Not me but you".

Seven Days Special Camp

Every year we are adopting one village for our special 7 days camp. Every days morning session will be spent for identifying the problems of the village and Rectified (Field Work)

Our activities during every special camps:

• 1.Counselling
• 2.Eye camp and spectacles distribution and arrangements for cataract operations
• 3.Conducting vocational training to the villages (statistical work / computers)
• 4.The emphasis to have clean and green environments
• 5.The need to have hygienic and pollution free living conditions.
• 6.Helping the needy youngsters to get job opportunities
• 7.Helping the people to develop self skills and arranging motivations talks.
• 8.Conducting Science Exhibition and distribution of books to the poor students.
• 9.Inviting VIPs to the camp to address the people for further enlightenment.
• 10.Educating the youngsters to lead liquor, smoke and drug addiction free life.
• 11.Educating the villagers to have social involvements.
